Community Workshop – Bird Silhouettes

Using simple tools – paper maps, template, scissors, glue sticks – create a bird silhouette. Supplies provided!
Paper artist Christina Laurel was inspired for this project by the London-based artist Claire Brewster. In Claire’s own words: “My birds, insects and flowers transcend borders with scant regard for rules of immigration or the effects of biodiversity.” Christina’s bird silhouette can be an individual or collaborative project (among friends, family, classmates). Participants will walk away with finished artwork ready for the wall.
