About Your Presenters

Dr. Celena Kusch is a professor of American literature and executive director of the Center for Academic Innovation and Faculty Support. She has received grants or been part of grant-funded teams supported by Campus Compact, the South Carolina Humanities Council, and many more.

Dr. David Marlowe has been awarded over $125,000 in grant funding from various sources. He is a professor of Linguistics and also serves as Director of the Office of Service Learning and Community Engagement at the University of South Carolina Upstate. At the core of all his endeavors, David seeks to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
