DESCRIPTION:Learn More\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\nMayfair Art Studios\, a division of Chapman Cultural Center\, will host a Holiday Art Market on Friday\, December 4th\, from 3:00pm – 8:00pm. The free event will be held on the second floor of Mayfair Art Studios and is open to the public. Attendees and vendors will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing while at the event in order to aid in the prevention of COVID-19 spread in our community. \nThe market will feature over 25 artisans\, crafters\, and local creatives with a broad range of hand-crafted items for purchase. Items for sale will include 2D and 3D artwork\, handcrafted jewelry\, handmade soaps\, personal care products\, toys\, ornaments\, plus gift cards and packaged experiences from the Mayfair Art Studios Resident Creatives. 100% of the proceeds from sales will go directly to the artists. \nThe Holiday Market is a chance for Spartanburg County’s local artists and creative enterprises to sell their work while providing the community access to unique gifts and one of a kind experiences. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind present or want to give the gift of music lessons or a personal photoshoot\, the Holiday Market is your chance to shop small and support local this holiday season. \nIn addition\, visitors will be able to enjoy holiday music while they shop and grab a bite to eat from a local food truck. Hot chocolate and coffee will also be available to purchase. \nThe Mayfair Art Studios Holiday Market is sponsored by Park National Bank. \nStay tuned for our full list of creative vendors!

SUMMARY:Recycling Paper Quilling Workshop - Mary Lou Hightower
DESCRIPTION:Learn More\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Join Mayfair Art Studios Resident Creative\, Mary Lou Hightower\, for her Paper Quilling Workshop. In this workshop\, the participants will be learning how to use thin strips of paper to create quilled items that can resemble filigree and can be used in several different ways for example ornaments. Quilling is an old art form that was practiced in 18th-century Europe. \nParticipants will learn the basic quilling shapes and create at least one item. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Class will be held November 6th from 11am to 12pm.
