Through his military experience and working with other organizations\, Brandon X has learned a lot about himself and how to use introspection as a way to persevere and overcome any obstacle that he may face\, which is done primarily through his art\, but by by sharing his story and time with youth. \nAlthough Brandon X is fairly new to the world of art\, his work is already making an impact on During the class\, students will watch an in-depth demonstration by Haley\, followed by an hour of hands-on instruction on the pottery wheel. Students will learn the basics of working on the pottery wheel and make their own piece of pottery which will be available to pick up 2-3 weeks after the class. \nThis class is open to youth & adults age 16+. Students age 12-15 can attend only if they come with a parent. This class is open to all levels\, no experience is required. In this workshop\, the participants will be learning how to use thin strips of paper to create quilled items that can resemble filigree and can be used in several different ways for example ornaments.
